
Maple Chili Tacos with Honey Lime Crema
A different twist on tacos perfect for dinner time. Loved by adults and kids!
Ingredients
Method
Make the Honey-Lime Crema
- In a small bowl, whisk all crema ingredients until smooth.
- Taste and adjust salt, lime, or honey. Refrigerate until ready.
Make the Quick Pickled Onions
- Slice red onion and add hot water, applecoder vinegar, salt and pepper. Mix and set aside.
Make the Taco Filling
- Heat oil or butter in a skillet over medium heat if using ground turkey or chicken. Omit this step if using beef.
- Add ground meat and cook, breaking it up. Add I n seasoning and continue cooking until all pink dissappears.
- Remove from pan and set aside.
Cook Maple Bacon
- Chop up bacon into bits.
- Cook bacon in a skillet until deeply crisp.
- While hot, toss lightly with maple syrup and chili lime seasoning.
Assemble
- Heat up corn tortilla in skillet
- Remove and add crema, next taco filling, then maple bacon, pickled onions, and cilantro.
- Enjoy!
