Steakhouse Inspired Cheese Ravioli with Creamy Mushroom Sauce

When you are craving a steakhouse worthy meal, make this delicious shaved steak and ravioli dinner that takes 30 minutes to make!

Ingredients
  

  • 2 packs of cheese ravioli or 1 packet if 16 oz or larger
Steak
  • 1 pack 16 oz shaved steak
  • 1/2 tsp to 1 tsp Steak seasoning or black pepper/salt/garlic mix
  • 1 tbsp Worcestershire sauce
  • 1 tsp thyme
Mushroom Sauce
  • 1 pack white or Bella mushrooms washed, dryed and cut
  • 1 cup half and half or heavy cream
  • 1 tsp minced garlic
  • 1 tbsp butter
  • 1/4 cup parmesan cheese
  • 1/4 to 1/2 cup cup pasta water
  • Parmesan cheese for topping

  • 1 Pot to boil water

Method
 

Let's Get Ready
  1. Get out all ingredients and equipment
  2. Prep mushrooms
Prepare the steak
  1. Over medium heat, place olive oil and shaved steak
  2. Season steak with seasonings and W sauce
  3. When done, remove from pan and keep warm.
Make the Sauce and Pasta
  1. In the same pan the steak was just in, add mushrooms
  2. Place a pot filled with water on stove to cook ravioli
  3. When mushrooms have caramelized, about 6 to 9 minutes, add minced garlic and butter to pan
  4. Heat 2 to 3 minutes until fragrant
  5. Add in heavy cream
  6. Turn to low and simmer
  7. While sauce simmers, make pasta. Pay attention as ravioli cooks fast.
  8. Taste and Season mushroom sauce
  9. Add 1/2 cup of pasta water and Parmesan cheese
  10. Continue to cook u til cheese is melted and sauce has slightly thickened.
Plate It Up
  1. Top pasta with meat and then mushroom sauce. Sprinkle more Parmesan cheese
